Terms of Service

Last updated: May 6, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ProxyLink ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by ProxyLink, based in Thessaloniki, Greece ("we", "us", "our").

2. What ProxyLink Does

ProxyLink is a remote access platform for IT professionals and Managed Service Providers (MSPs). It provides:

  • Public proxy URLs that forward HTTP/HTTPS/TCP traffic to a server IP and port you specify
  • WireGuard VPN tunnels for reaching servers and entire LAN networks — including multiple VLANs — with no public IP on the target
  • Browser-based SSH, RDP, and VNC terminals for connecting to remote devices
  • Session recording — RDP, VNC, and SSH sessions can be recorded and replayed
  • An immutable audit log of all remote access sessions (who connected, when, from where, duration)
  • LAN auto-discovery — scanning client networks through the VPN tunnel to detect and fingerprint devices
  • Asset inventory — a full list of every device and service across all client sites
  • Up/down monitoring — periodic reachability checks on proxy links with email and webhook alerts
  • Wake-on-LAN — remotely powering on devices through the tunnel
  • NOC dashboard — real-time status view across all client sites
  • Client compliance portals for NIS2 audit reporting
  • A Windows endpoint deployment script that installs WireGuard and UltraVNC silently via a one-time token URL
  • VoIP relay — per-client SIP and RTP relay for PBX systems behind a VPN tunnel with no public IP

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to access any server or device you configure in ProxyLink. Do not point proxy links at systems you do not own or have explicit permission to access.

3. Acceptable Use

You may not use ProxyLink to:

  • Attack, scan, or probe servers you do not own or control
  • Distribute malware, illegal content, or content that infringes third-party rights
  • Conduct denial-of-service attacks or use the Service to amplify traffic against any target
  • Circumvent access controls or exploit vulnerabilities in third-party systems
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Abuse the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice.

4. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must provide accurate information when registering. Accounts found to use false information may be terminated.

5. Early Access — Free Period

ProxyLink is currently free during early access. All features are available at no cost, no credit card is required, and there are no usage limits except those noted below.

Early access limitations:

  • Session recordings are automatically deleted after 3 days (instead of 14 days on paid plans)
  • Recording storage is limited to 200 MB per account

Transition to paid plans: When we launch paid plans, we will give all existing users at least 30 days' advance notice by email before any charges begin. You will never be charged without explicit prior notice and the opportunity to cancel. Users who sign up during early access and choose to subscribe will lock in introductory pricing for the lifetime of their subscription — if prices increase later, yours will not change as long as your subscription remains active.

No billing data is collected during early access. Payment processing will be handled by Stripe when paid plans launch. Stripe's privacy policy will apply to any payment data at that time.

6. Service Availability and Security

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee any specific uptime. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or damages resulting from use of the Service.

We may modify or discontinue features at any time. For significant changes, we will attempt to notify users in advance.

No security guarantee: ProxyLink cannot and does not guarantee the privacy, security, integrity, or authenticity of any information transmitted over or stored in any system connected to or accessible via the internet, including systems reachable through ProxyLink tunnels. While we implement security measures including end-to-end encryption, rate limiting, WireGuard VPN peer isolation, and access controls, no remote access system can guarantee 100% security against all threats.

Security incident notification: In the event of a security breach that affects your account or data, we will notify you by email within 72 hours of becoming aware of the incident, in accordance with GDPR requirements.

6a. Your Responsibility for Downstream Systems

ProxyLink is a tool for accessing remote systems. You are solely responsible for the security of the systems, networks, and devices you configure in ProxyLink. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Keeping the operating systems, software, and services on your target machines patched and up to date
  • Not exposing services through ProxyLink that you would not otherwise allow authorised users to access
  • Managing who has access to your ProxyLink account, team, and individual proxy links
  • Ensuring that any credentials (RDP passwords, SSH keys, VNC passwords) stored or used through the Service are strong and rotated regularly
  • Informing your clients and end-users about remote access practices, including recording, where required by law

TCP and UDP links: TCP and UDP tunnel links do not include a ProxyLink authentication gate. Any party who obtains the link URL and port can connect directly to the target service. ProxyLink strongly recommends using HTTP or HTTPS proxy links for web-based interfaces (such as NAS management panels, router admin pages, or IP cameras), as these enforce ProxyLink session authentication before forwarding traffic. If you choose to expose a web interface via a TCP or UDP link, you do so at your own risk and are solely responsible for ensuring the target application has adequate authentication and security controls.

If ProxyLink is breached: In the event that ProxyLink's infrastructure is compromised and an attacker uses that access to reach systems on your account — including systems reachable through your WireGuard tunnels — ProxyLink shall not be liable for any resulting damage, data loss, business interruption, ransomware, or any other harm to those downstream systems. ProxyLink provides connectivity; the security of the destination systems is your responsibility. You should maintain independent security controls (firewalls, endpoint protection, backups) on any system accessible through the Service.

This clause does not limit your rights under mandatory provisions of applicable law that cannot be excluded by contract.

7. Logs, Recordings, and Data

Request logs: HTTP requests passing through your proxy links are logged (IP, headers, body up to 64KB). Stored for 30 days, then automatically deleted.

Audit log: All remote access sessions (SSH, RDP, VNC) are logged with actor email, source IP, timestamp, and duration. This log is immutable and cannot be deleted by users — it exists for compliance purposes. Team owners and administrators can export it as CSV.

Session recordings: When you enable recording on a proxy link, SSH, RDP, or VNC sessions are recorded and stored on our servers. During early access, recordings are automatically deleted after 3 days and storage is capped at 200 MB per account. On paid plans, recordings are retained for 14 days. You may delete them manually at any time from the dashboard.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of session recording complies with applicable laws, including any requirement to inform the people whose sessions are being recorded.

8. Intellectual Property

ProxyLink and its software are proprietary. You retain ownership of any content or configuration you create using the Service.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProxyLink shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, ransomware or malware attacks on downstream systems, security breaches of systems accessible through the Service, or any other commercial or financial losses — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid us in the 12 months immediately prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) €100 EUR. During any period when the Service is provided free of charge, our maximum liability is €100 EUR.

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory under which the claim is brought (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and reflect a reasonable allocation of risk between the parties.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece and the European Union. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thessaloniki, Greece.
