# NIS2 Compliance

> ProxyLink's audit log and compliance portal support NIS2 Article 21 requirements for MSPs operating in the EU.

ProxyLink is built for European MSPs operating under NIS2 (EU Directive 2022/2555 and its national transpositions). The audit log and compliance portal are designed to meet Article 21 requirements for privileged access monitoring.

## Audit log

Every SSH, RDP, and VNC session is logged with:

* Who connected (user name and email)
* When (timestamp in local time)
* From where (source IP)
* To which device
* Session duration
* Link to session recording (if enabled)

The audit log is **immutable** — entries cannot be edited or deleted. Export as CSV for client reports or regulatory submissions.

Access: **More** → **Audit Log**

## Compliance portal

Generate a client-facing compliance report without giving the client a ProxyLink account:

1. Go to the client group → **NIS2 Compliance Portal**
2. Generate a token-gated URL
3. Share with the client or auditor

The portal shows the audit log for that client's devices only. No other clients' data is visible.

## NIS2 relevance

Under NIS2, your clients' risk assessments must account for their supply chain — including the remote access tools their MSP uses. ProxyLink's compliance portal directly answers that requirement:

* EU-hosted infrastructure (Hetzner Germany)
* Open-source WireGuard protocol — no proprietary black-box routing
* Full session audit trail with recordings
* No third-party remote-access relay network — session relay and storage run on our own EU server (WireGuard tunnels and TCP links connect directly to it); web traffic is fronted by Cloudflare's edge for TLS and WAF

<Note>
  NIS2 Article 21 requires "appropriate measures" for privileged access. ProxyLink's audit log and session recording are designed to satisfy this requirement. Consult your legal advisor for your specific obligations.
